...is your LU sitting on cinder blocks?  Take a look at a few options.
A simple design that looks more
complicated than it is.  This is just an a
top-access LU with 4 tapered legs screwed
to the bottom.  The speaker(s) enclosures
are just hung off the side like saddle bags.
There's no need to perforate the side of the
LU cabinet with screws - just install an
upside-down sheet metal "U" that clips
onto the top of the side LU sides.
The "Danish Modern" stand.  Like all
Danish furniture - simple, elegant, and
functional.  Has a bottom shelf (glass?) to
store your records/amp.
I've designed the "Bass Reflex " Enclosure
seen below, but have yet to physically build
it (the base you see in the photo was
digitally created in PhotoShop).  This base
will have the same look and feel as the unit
itself and will incorporate a Seeburg High
Fidelity Power Amplifier and speaker on
tapered legs.  The photo at the left shows a
12" speaker and a separate Altec horn to
the left.  See below for  alternate.
The "Bass Reflex " Enclosure will have a
Jensen H-222 coaxial speaker - the same
model Seeburg selected for their higher
end Console model.   The wood will have
base will have the same look and feel as
the unit itself and will incorporate a
Seeburg High Fidelity Power Amplifier and
speaker on short hairpin legs.  To the left
you'll see the gold Jensen attenuator just
above the Jensen "BASS REFLEX" logo.
Hairpin Leg Base - classic American
Mid-century Modern design.  See below for
a variation that includes an amp cradle.
