I had stamps.com before, but cancelled it. So I knew how they operated. But recently I received a letter asking me to "come back". I read it carefully, and they said you could cancel online. Plus I could get an Amazon gift card! So I decided to sign up, but since I had problems cancelling before, I used a virtual credit card to sign up, so I could cancel the card if I ran into problems cancelling.
Stamps.com seems pretty attractive at first. Free Scale, Free Amazon Gift Card, Cancel Online or by calling. But what is the real truth?
This is my story about cancelling my stamps.com account.I attempted to cancel my account today, online. Here are my steps:
I searched the stamps.com website for help, how to cancel
The information says go to Manage Accounts Section
I didn't see anything here about canceling, so I went Clicked change plans
Nothing here, so check the My Profile
Still Nothing, maybe in the default payments section.
With nothing found yet, I looked for a way to email customer service, So I used Google
I filled out the forms, using the best options available
I clicked submit, and it came up with this
Guess where the "How do I close my stamps.account brought me?
I submitted my request, and got this acknowledgment
